Available in 2 sizes, our characterful olive wood spoons are carved by hand and sealed with a natural vegetable oil to allow the patterning of the wood and richness of the colour to shine through. Olive trees are a familiar site across Morocco with their silvery leaves and gnarled trunks. The wood from trees which have reached the end of their productive lives is used by our artisans to craft functional tableware in simple shapes which allow the beauty of the natural grain to be the star of the show. We love these traditional wooden spoons which are a familiar sight in Moroccan homes and accompany bowls of heartwarming harira soup.
